FIRST RACE FOR MY YOUNGSTERS

Well they are all going tonight for their first race - Siht or Bust.
Had plenty of training, so it is all down to them now.

Well they have 2 chances lads That's how phylosophical I have become with the whole pigeon game.

started with 60, i lost 5 off loft, lost 15 over 2 bad tosses. 6 were lost to bop attack in one toss and the other 9 i lost with training in bad weather(heavy rain and 20 miles per hour head winds)
sent 35 today for first, 4 injuries and lost one (returned) in loft.

they had 8 tosses, 2x 20 miles,2x 40 miles,2x 30 miles, and 2x 40 miles trained over 3 weeks.

25-30,000 birds to break from tomorrow and come home and the way i look at it what ever doesnt make it i dont need.

same here bob up at 11.20 clocked at 13.40 had 10 back uoto 14.20 not a feather since still 14 missing somewhere

Its getting beyond a fookin joke now mate. I really put everything into these young birds, they were well trained, etc etc. Got shot of all my old birds racers and really put all my faith and trust in these. Now it looks like I'm back to square one again, and I cant justify continually spending good money on this hobby.

well my loft is sitting empty, sent 16 and have nothing back at all. gutted wouldnt be the word.

Not looking good for the sport in general Andy. Just got back from my club and theres a few who are wiped out and said "that's it, I'm finished" and to be honest THAT IS IT FOR ME, this hobby is fooked, especially when Convoyers confer and our one watched the Hull Fed go at 9am and the birds woundn't clear, he decided to hold back. Then spoke to the other Fed going further down than us by 50 - 60 miles and it was agreed between them that we go at 11am and then they would go at 11.30. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. We went at 11am and the birds never cleared, so what did they do TIP THERE BIRDS OUT AT 11.15.

IT IS SAID THAT CONVOYERS DON'T COMMUNICATE, AND WHEN THEY DO THEY STILL CANT STICK TO THE AGREEMENT, A FOOKIN DISGRACE, AND I AM NOT BLAMING OUR CONVOYER, HE STUCK TO THE AGREEMENT

THE FOOKIN SPORT IS A SHAMBLES AND I AM GLAD I HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO GET THE FOOK OUT OF IT
